Beginnings

It is a time of beginnings! My brother was married on January 3rd, 2014, beginning a new life. I am beginning a new adventure, and will be leaving for Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon in just two weeks. This is the beginning of this documentation as well. My intention is to stay better connected with family and friends by sharing stories and accompanying visuals.

My brother, the silent moments before the ceremony:

His wedding was at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Florida. She was beautiful, he was ecstatic, the dancing was non-stop. The best man wept like a baby.

With the help of a best friend, a beer tote was made:

Before the wedding, we visited the Ringling Museum and Mansion. Well, we actually didn't even go inside the museum portion, we just lost ourselves in the beauty of the grounds. The picture on the right is a Banyan Tree from India.
